Job Overview

As a Client Relationship Coordinator within the Commercial Lending Division, you will engage in managing designated portfolios, encompassing both new and ongoing client relationships. You will act as the primary liaison for current clients, ensuring exceptional service and support. Your role will involve loan documentation and providing top-notch customer service, all within a professional environment that fosters skill enhancement and career advancement opportunities in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls and welcoming clients
  • Facilitating the opening of depository accounts when necessary
  • Assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and servicing of loans, including procuring supporting documentation from external service providers
  • Completing loan applications using lending software and aiding in the creation of approval documents
  • Managing loan closings as required
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and ready for the closing process
  • Funding loans in accordance with the documentation provided in the loan package
  • Collaborating with clients on various banking needs, requests, or issues
  • Effectively communicating with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
  • Providing administrative assistance to the department
  • Managing exception reports by informing clients, vendors, or lenders of required documentation
  • Understanding the bank's loan policies and departmental procedures
  • Assisting in the organization of departmental events
  • Performing other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; a college degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field or professional experience in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with basic lending principles and loan documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means, tailored to the audience's needs
  • Capability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of management and staff
  • Demonstrated active listening skills
  • Ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and foster positive client relationships
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
