Job Overview

As a Client Relationship Coordinator within the Commercial Lending Division, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at managing designated portfolios, which encompass both new and ongoing client relationships. You will act as the primary point of contact for our valued clients. Your role will emphasize loan documentation and customer service, all within a professional setting that fosters skill enhancement and career advancement opportunities in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls and welcoming clients
  • Opening depository accounts when necessary
  • Assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and servicing of loans, including the procurement of supporting documentation from external service providers
  • Completing loan applications using lending software and aiding in the preparation of approval documents
  • Facilitating loan closings as required
  • Ensuring the accuracy and readiness of all documents for closing
  • Funding loans in accordance with the documentation provided in the loan package
  • Collaborating with clients on their banking needs, requests, or concerns
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
  • Providing administrative support to the department
  • Managing all exception reports by informing clients, vendors, or lenders of required documentation
  • Understanding the bank's loan policies and departmental procedures
  • Assisting in the organization of departmental events
  • Performing other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; a college degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field or professional experience in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with basic lending principles and loan documentation
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to the audience's needs
  • Able to collaborate and communicate with all levels of management and staff
  • Exhibits strong active listening abilities
  • Capable of maintaining customer satisfaction and fostering positive client relationships
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
