Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a skilled and committed Project Manager to join our team. This permanent role provides the chance to work on a variety of commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of the construction process, from planning through execution to final delivery.

Collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members is essential to ensure that all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is perfect for an individual eager to leverage their project management expertise in a dynamic and challenging setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Create detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members for seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the on-site team to align construction activities with the project plan.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct cost estimation and financial planning to maintain project profitability.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial construction, preferably with projects exceeding $20M.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong skills in cost estimation and budget management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Knowledge of construction laws and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
