Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and committed Project Manager to become a vital part of our team. This permanent role offers the chance to engage with a variety of commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will manage all facets of the construction process, from planning through execution to final delivery.

Collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members will be essential to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This position is perfect for an individual eager to leverage their project management expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Create detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members for efficient project execution.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Supervise the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the on-site team to align construction activities with the project plan.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct cost estimation and financial planning to maintain project profitability.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial construction, particularly with projects valued at $20M or more.
  • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies.
  • Expertise in cost estimation and budget oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Familiarity with construction laws and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • PMP certification is advantageous.
