Role Overview
As the Manager of Product Management with a focus on Data Governance, you will spearhead the development and implementation of data strategies and governance frameworks for our commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute the data strategy and governance for the Commercial Data as a Service initiative.
  • Establish, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap, encompassing both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and enhance product features that elevate customer experiences.

Data Governance:
Engage in the creation and upkeep of data governance policies and procedures to guarantee data quality, compliance, and security, aligning with industry best practices and regulations.

  • Identify opportunities and innovative use cases to develop top-tier solutions that deliver business value.
  • Serve as a data authority, comprehending organizational data flows to craft innovative analytical solutions.
  • Conduct market research to inform product enhancements.
  • Explore potential partnerships to bolster product areas.
  • Gather insights to evaluate MasterCard's competitive stance in the market.

Product Development:
Participate in the comprehensive development lifecycle of data products, from conception to launch, including defining product requirements and ensuring timely delivery.

Market Analysis:
Engage in market assessments and stay informed on industry trends to pinpoint opportunities and challenges, enabling data-driven decisions for product improvements and new offerings.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to define product features, resolve technical challenges, and ensure successful product development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in Financial Services is advantageous.
  • Background in product management and development is desirable.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up capabilities.
  • Analytical skills with a business acumen to provide solutions that yield positive outcomes for customers and MasterCard.
  • Self-driven with a proven history of achieving success within a team environment.
