Role Summary
The Product Management Lead will spearhead the development and implementation of data strategies and governance frameworks for our commercial offerings. This role is pivotal in defining both business and technical requirements while collaborating closely with engineering teams to create scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the Commercial Data as a Service initiative.
  • Establish, maintain, and communicate a clear product roadmap that outlines both immediate and long-term objectives.
  • Engage with engineering teams to design and enhance product features that elevate customer satisfaction.

Data Governance:
Contribute to the formulation and upkeep of data governance policies and practices to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security, adhering to industry standards.

  • Identify opportunities and innovative use cases to develop top-tier solutions that deliver significant business value.
  • Serve as a data authority, comprehending organizational data flows to craft advanced analytical solutions.
  • Conduct market research to inform product enhancements.
  • Explore potential partnerships to bolster product initiatives.
  • Analyze competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Product Development:
Engage in the complete product development lifecycle for data products, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with product requirements.

Market Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends and conduct market assessments to pinpoint opportunities and challenges, enabling informed decisions regarding product improvements and new offerings.

  • Collaborate across functions with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to define product features, resolve technical challenges, and drive successful product outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in the Financial Services sector is advantageous.
  • Background in product management and development is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up abilities.
  • Analytical skills with a focus on delivering business solutions that yield positive outcomes.
  • Self-driven with a proven history of success in collaborative environments.
