Mission: The SMGS Ops mission is to empower the AWS field organization to achieve unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness in the market. Our objective is to minimize sales inefficiencies and costs while uncovering avenues for revenue growth.
Responsibilities: As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will:
- Facilitate collaboration among various product and service owners to align business strategies and execute roadmaps, representing the interests of the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS).
- Drive strategic initiatives and engage with launch partners to define and develop new and improved processes and systems across sales, operations, and technology.
- Actively contribute to the formulation of strategies and roadmaps across multiple organizational pillars.
- Play a pivotal role in defining business requirements, executing projects, and strategizing launches.
- Provide an unbiased perspective to formulate proposals and recommendations for organizational and customer leadership reviews.
- Oversee mechanisms to ensure stakeholder engagement throughout project initiation, execution, and launch phases, while continuously monitoring progress and resolving issues.
Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will thrive at the intersection of creativity and analytical thinking, demonstrating an insatiable curiosity about customer experiences and leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve customer challenges. You will be a strategic leader within the organization, collaborating closely with technology, UX design, data science, program management, legal, security, and finance teams to define and manage complex product roadmaps.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience in feature delivery and product trade-offs.
- Background in managing technical products or online services.
- Experience advocating for diverse customers and stakeholders during executive-level planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
- Experience in developing and promoting the adoption of new tools.
