Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a strategic account lead, you will be responsible for driving value for our clients while maximizing revenue and margin for the company. You will specialize in a value or volume specialty, such as servers, storage, or services, and focus on growing the base business, complex solutions, and net new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute account plans to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Focus on larger deals and opportunities, and sell a range of company products and emerging technology solutions.
  • Work closely with management to develop future business plans and independently determine methods for achieving plans.
  • Build strong relationships with key IT and business executives, including C-level executives.
  • Apply consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth.
  • Maintain high levels of customer loyalty and build trust and integrity.
  • Advocate for client needs in negotiating solution sales and troubleshooting delivery issues.
  • Develop joint business plans with customers and analyze industry and competitive research to facilitate rich client dialogue.
  • Manage sales pipelines and coordinate all account forecasts, planning, and reporting.
  • Direct and coordinate all activity on accounts and focus on generating net new business.
  • Build, monitor, and manage sales pipeline activity and enter all opportunities in the pipeline tool.
  • Build a list of customers willing to be references and implement margin recovery activities.
  • Act as a first interface for international accounts and identify customer requirements, match them with company capabilities, and choose the respective company supply chain.
Requirements:
  • University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Prior selling experience with multiple, diverse sets of selling responsibilities.
  • Expertise in a given field and ability to mentor selling strategy.
  • Typically 12+ years of experience as referenced above.
  • 5 years commercial account management experience.
  • Highly experienced in product specialty and related industry.
