Enterprise Geo Sales Professional

As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for selling Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform to State and Local Government accounts in a dedicated geographical territory. Your expertise in selling innovation and change will enable you to guide deals forward and compress decision cycles.
About the Role- Manage complex sales cycles and present to C-level executives.
- Closing net new and existing accounts.
- Identifying and closing quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
- Exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Tracking all customer details, including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.
- Using a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers.
- Promoting Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark.
- Ensuring 100% satisfaction among all customers.
- Prioritizing opportunities and applying appropriate resources.
- Building a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts.
- Previous experience in an early-stage company, with a strong track record of success.
- 1-3+ years of field sales experience to SLED accounts.
- Background in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales is preferable.
- Strong passion for cloud technologies.
- Bachelor's degree.
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $162,600-$287,600 USD, depending on the location. The total compensation package may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
