Key Responsibilities:

Position Overview:

  • Expands and enhances the customer base by engaging in effective communication, assessing client needs, and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Conducts on-site demonstrations of equipment.
  • Offers application suggestions for welding and positioning machinery.
  • Establishes long-term supply partnerships through contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborates with team members to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Aims to meet or surpass rental and sales targets within the designated market area.
  • Generates lists of potential customers for sales opportunities utilizing information from various sources.
  • Ensures timely and accurate submission of sales reports and expense accounts.
  • Follows up with customers post-sale.
  • Undertakes additional related tasks as necessary.

  • Proficient in developing and implementing market and business strategies.
  • Possesses strong technical knowledge alongside excellent interpersonal and management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new accounts and business prospects.
  • Exhibits high-quality presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Able to interact effectively with diverse individuals across various backgrounds.
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home 25-35% of the time.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Competent in using computer applications to create effective spreadsheets, reports, and presentations, particularly MS Office.
  • Adaptable in prioritizing tasks and managing varying expectations.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a Diploma in Business Management or a related field.
  • Sales experience in industrial equipment rental or welding equipment sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with positioning equipment and welding applications is advantageous.

  • Exempt from salary regulations.
