We're seeking a highly organized and outgoing Account Manager who can grow and manage our Mid-market Business through sales, technical support, and education. The ideal candidate will be able to sustain the high standards our customers expect and thrive in a non-stop, 24/7/365 environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Engagement and Outreach: Quickly follow up on leads and reach out to potential clients, introducing them to Chemtek's top-notch asphalt paving solutions.
  • Customer Success Management: Ensure the success of clients by providing guidance on product selection and offering consistent follow-up support regarding product usage and application.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, showing genuine interest in their needs and challenges.
  • CRM Data Management: Log all sales activities, future tasks, and customer insights in Salesforce, using it to manage activities and plan the day.
  • Consultative Selling: Establish one-on-one relationships with customers, positioning oneself as a trusted advisor and providing personalized recommendations for cross-selling and upselling new products.
  • Order Closing: Effectively close orders generated from inbound leads through direct sales efforts, maximizing conversion rates and revenue.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Small Business Sales Team to spot and grab new business opportunities.
  • Customer First Attitude: Deliver fast and responsive customer support, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues without delay.
  • Market and Product Expertise: Get to know the market and our customers' needs inside out, being part of their world and knowing Chemtek products to confidently answer questions and solve problems.
  • Build Recurring Revenue: Strategically build and nurture a book of business focusing on generating annual recurring revenue, ensuring long-term revenue stability, growth, and income.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: A college degree is a plus, but what's more important is your drive and ability to succeed.
  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years' of proven experience in a prospect or customer-facing sales or support role, showcasing the ability to engage effectively with clients and prospects.
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software, with hands-on experience managing customer data, pipelines, and sales activities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using technology like Salesforce, Slack, and Outlook.
  • Business Development Skills: Ability to proactively generate new business opportunities and cultivate long-term relationships with clients, leveraging a strategic approach to identify and capitalize on sales prospects.
  • Organizational Skills: Super organized and detail-oriented, great at juggling different lead sources and keeping things accurate while prioritizing tasks smoothly.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to ask questions, identify with the prospect or customer as a consultant and business partner to solve problems.
  • Expert Deal-Closing Skills: Demonstrates superior proficiency in closing deals and negotiating agreements, leveraging persuasive techniques and a deep understanding of client requirements to secure successful outcomes.
  • Great Listener: Demonstrates the ability to be a great listener on sales calls, sharp at picking up important details to really get what customers need and want.
