Job Summary:

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and Directing Guests: Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Communication and Scheduling: Handle incoming calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate individuals or departments. Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events for staff or clients, and maintain calendars.
  • Administrative Tasks: Receive and distribute mail, faxes, and packages, and draft and send routine correspondence. Keep track of visitor logs, employee attendance, and other administrative records.
  • Customer Service: Offer general information about the organization, its services, or its policies, and respond to inquiries. Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure visitor sign-in procedures are followed, and maintain a secure environment by monitoring access to the building.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments and staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
  • Front Desk Maintenance: Keep the front desk and lobby area tidy and organized.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, ability to multi-task, and accurate scheduling of appointments.
  • Personal Qualities: Good communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to work independently.
