Job Summary:

As a Casino Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for delivering prompt, friendly, and courteous beverage service to all guests. Your role is crucial in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for patrons while accurately taking and serving drink orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in alignment with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Work within a designated area, adhering to established loops and maps.
  • Accurately and pleasantly take beverage orders from guests.
  • Ensure fast service (20 minutes or less) while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor; carry full trays on every round.
  • Familiarize yourself with the beverage menu and pricing; present orders and payments to the bartender in an organized manner.
  • Deliver beverages and process payments for guests.
  • Utilize "server banking" for completing alcohol sales.
  • Participate in special events and concerts as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and tray at all times.
  • Respond to inquiries about the casino's facilities, services, and promotions.
  • Encourage participation in Caesars Rewards.
  • Provide excellent service to customers with an upbeat personality.
  • Engage with guests to build rapport and remember their preferences.
  • Perform service recovery when necessary.
  • Keep the work area tidy by picking up trash and litter.
  • Adhere to department round time and bar time standards.
  • Minimize errors and seek coaching for performance improvement.
  • Handle cash register/POS transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
  • Follow all relevant liquor laws and regulations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in an ethical manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of prior customer service experience preferred.
  • CARE certified (training provided).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Attention to detail and observant nature.
  • Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes.
  • Professional appearance and hygiene.
  • Ability to complete cash and charge transactions.
  • Familiarity with tray service.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to respond to visual and auditory cues.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Ability to operate in mentally and physically demanding situations.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to handle necessary items (glasses, pens, money, etc.).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and twist while serving.
  • Tolerance for varying noise levels, temperature, and crowds.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
