Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Endorse Business Objectives: Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Provide Fast, Friendly, Professional Beverage Service: Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests.
  • Prepare Beverages as Ordered: Prepare beverages as ordered.
  • Build Relationships with Guests: Build relationships with guests.
  • Maintain a Clean and Stocked Workstation: Keep bar area clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
  • Operate a Cash Register/POS System: Operate a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount into the register and give a guest or server the correct change; accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
  • Monitor Guest Consumption of Alcohol: Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
  • Follow Regulatory Guidelines: Follow guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Commission and/or NC ABC Commission.
  • Adhere to Company Policies/Procedures: Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Customer Service Experience: One-year prior customer service experience required.
  • Bartending Experience: Six months experience as a bartender at a full-service bar preferred.
  • Training Program: Complete documented training program preferred.
  • Responsible Alcohol Seller/Server Program: Responsible Alcohol Seller/Server Program required.
  • Serve Safe Certified: Serve Safe Certified required.
  • Essential Knowledge and Skills: Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands
  • Multi-Tasking: Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Lifting and Maneuvering: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and maneuver and tap a keg weighing 165 pounds.
  • Standing and Mobility: Must be able to be on feet for 8-hour shift and bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp.
  • Visual and Aural Cues: Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Environmental Tolerance: Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondhand smoke.
  • Flexible Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
