About the Role

Mackinnon & Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and delivery terms.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our procurement processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, business administration, or engineering.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English-French or English-Spanish).
  • International trading and logistics experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP software and Microsoft Office.
