In this role, you will oversee technical areas that necessitate expertise in auditing, compliance, data reporting, and social and environmental sustainability. Your responsibilities will include managing auditing, verification, and control processes, ensuring the quality of external reporting, and enhancing our transparency efforts with partners and the public. Success in this position requires aligning internal stakeholders and external partners on shared processes across our global teams.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the Cocoa Life reporting initiatives, ensuring the quality of reporting, verifying data accuracy, and collaborating with the global ESG team to maintain data integrity. Your role will support our goals for the economic well-being of farming communities, community development, and environmental sustainability. This includes nurturing existing relationships and establishing new ones with program evaluators, verifiers, and partners implementing our initiatives. Additionally, you will: standardize reporting and control procedures, collaborate with research partners to analyze sustainability data for reporting, engage in multi-stakeholder initiatives to enhance controls and reporting practices, and ensure ongoing compliance with legal standards.

  • Understanding the interplay between business impact, raw material sustainability, and data reporting quality

  • Insights into agricultural supply chains from production to manufacturing
  • Regulatory frameworks that influence assurance and reporting for agricultural raw materials in consumer food products
  • Networking and negotiation capabilities
  • Collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including farmers, researchers, government officials, and business leaders

  • Proven expertise in assurance and control methodologies
  • Familiarity with developmental contexts and agricultural sustainability
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation, with proficiency in relevant software or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SPSS, STATA) and geographic information systems (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • A collaborative team player comfortable in cross-cultural settings and multi-stakeholder environments

The final offer will reflect the candidate's skills and prior experience, complemented by attractive benefits.
