Are you an experienced financial professional seeking a new challenge?

We are currently collaborating with a dynamic organization in the Medical Device Manufacturing sector, looking to expand their finance team by adding a Lead Financial Analyst. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Client Overview

This client is a well-established Medical Device Manufacturing firm with significant revenue growth. They are committed to enhancing their financial operations and are in search of a candidate with a robust background in accounting, particularly within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and accurately post journal entries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in generating financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and assist in developing financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights to aid in strategic planning.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, preparing relevant reports.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate costing and inventory management.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital effectively.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Utilize technology to streamline accounting processes.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior accounting staff.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Netsuite, and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
