Team Insights

As part of Stripe's Growth team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting countless merchants in exploring, adopting, and expanding their operations with Stripe's comprehensive financial solutions. Our team is dedicated to optimizing and accelerating the entire journey of our self-service and sold clients, ensuring long-term value while driving Stripe's revenue goals.

Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for achieving revenue objectives by enhancing the sales funnel for our Velocity segment, which includes startups, small to medium-sized businesses, and commercial entities. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers, data analysts, marketers, and sales professionals to gain a profound understanding of merchant and seller experiences. Your efforts will focus on developing backend systems, data-driven products, internal tools, and customer-facing solutions that streamline our go-to-market strategies for Stripe's smaller clientele. This encompasses leading the creation of merchant experiences that optimize revenue realization for our sold clients, designing internal applications to guide sellers in their next steps, and refining our company universe dataset to help sellers target the most promising businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and business leaders to formulate a vision and strategy for Go-to-Market acceleration tailored to our Velocity segment.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the merchant and seller/marketer experience within the Velocity segment, transforming data, research, and experiments into actionable insights.
  • Work alongside a cross-functional team to implement a product roadmap that drives revenue success.

Essential Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience as a product leader, successfully launching products from concept to outcome.
  • Proficient in iterative, hypothesis-driven product development and experimentation.
  • Experience in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and fostering alignment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to problem-solving and enhancing user satisfaction.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity to uncover strategic insights and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing products specifically for Go-to-Market teams (Sales or Marketing).
  • Familiarity with recommender systems, product-led growth, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience in creating both internal and external-facing products.

Work Environment

This role offers flexibility for remote or office-based work arrangements. Employees assigned to an office are expected to spend a minimum of 50% of their time in the office each month, balancing in-person collaboration with individual flexibility.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $194,800 - $292,200. This range may include various career levels and will be refined during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits may encompass equity, company bonuses, a 401(k) plan, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
