About the Team

You will be part of Stripe's Growth team, dedicated to assisting countless merchants in exploring, adopting, and expanding their businesses through Stripe's comprehensive range of financial solutions. Our team focuses on optimizing and accelerating the entire journey for both self-serve and sold customers, ensuring long-term value and accountability for the self-serve business line while enhancing the sold funnel by improving the experiences of Stripe sellers and marketers—ultimately driving Stripe's revenue goals.

What You'll Do

In this position, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets by enhancing the sold funnel for our Velocity segment, which includes startups, SMBs, and commercial entities. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, marketers, and sales professionals to gain deep insights into merchant and seller experiences. Your efforts will involve developing backend systems, data-driven products, internal tools, and customer-facing solutions that can expedite our go-to-market strategies for Stripe's smaller clients. This encompasses leading the creation of merchant experiences that optimize revenue realization for our sold customers, such as onboarding processes and dashboard features, as well as internal applications that assist sellers in identifying their next best actions to support their users effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and business leaders to formulate a go-to-market acceleration vision and strategy for our Velocity segment.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the merchant and seller/marketer experience within the Velocity segment, translating data, research, and experiments into clear customer challenges.
  • Work alongside a cross-functional team to implement a product roadmap that drives revenue outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience as a product leader, successfully launching products from strategy to outcomes.
  • Proficiency in iterative, hypothesis-driven product development and experimentation.
  • Experience in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and fostering alignment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset, dedicated to problem-solving and enhancing user satisfaction.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity to derive strategic insights and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing products specifically for Go-to-Market teams (Sales or Marketing).
  • Familiarity with recommender systems, product-led growth, and/or lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience in shaping both internally and externally facing products.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

This role offers flexibility for either in-office or remote work arrangements. Office-based employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the office each month, balancing in-person collaboration with individual flexibility.

Pay and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $194,800 - $292,200. For sales roles, this range includes both the target sales commissions and the annual base salary. The salary range may encompass various career levels at Stripe and will be refined during the interview process based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonuses, a 401(k) plan, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
