Role Overview

As the inaugural Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, fostering customer engagement, and driving revenue growth. This position requires a balance of brand development and performance marketing expertise, with a focus on utilizing marketing insights to prioritize initiatives that elevate the Public Rec brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute holistic marketing strategies to cultivate the Public Rec brand and boost overall awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand the marketing team, nurturing a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, encompassing digital advertising, organic social media, email outreach, influencer collaborations, direct mail, and television.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics to uncover growth and innovation opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our target demographic and regularly assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, promoting a culture of experimentation and learning.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Director to manage the marketing budget efficiently, optimizing expenditures across channels to maximize return on investment.
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure marketing efforts align with product offerings.
  • Take ownership of significant product and campaign launches, establishing and communicating clear, measurable sales objectives.
  • Measure and report on key performance indicators, providing actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Make informed decisions regarding promotions and sales strategies while safeguarding the brand's integrity and collaborating with the Product team on pricing strategies.
