Team Overview

As part of Stripe's Growth team, you will play a crucial role in guiding countless merchants through the process of evaluating, adopting, and expanding their operations with Stripe's comprehensive range of financial solutions. This team is dedicated to refining and accelerating the entire journey for both self-serve and sold customers, focusing on maximizing long-term value while driving Stripe's revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue targets by enhancing the sales funnel for our Velocity segment, which includes startups, SMBs, and commercial clients.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, marketers, and sales professionals to gain insights into merchant and seller experiences.
  • Develop backend systems, data-driven products, internal tools, and customer-facing solutions that facilitate effective go-to-market strategies for smaller users.
  • Lead the creation of merchant experiences that optimize revenue realization for sold customers, including onboarding processes and dashboard functionalities.
  • Design internal applications that empower sellers to identify optimal actions to support their users effectively.
  • Enhance our company universe dataset to assist sellers in targeting the most suitable companies.

Qualifications

We seek candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience as a product leader, successfully launching products from conception to results.
  • Proficiency in iterative, hypothesis-driven product development and experimentation.
  • Experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve alignment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset, dedicated to problem-solving and enhancing user satisfaction.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity to derive strategic insights and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing products tailored for Go-to-Market teams (Sales or Marketing).
  • Familiarity with recommender systems, product-led growth strategies, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience in shaping both internal and external product offerings.

Work Environment

This position offers flexibility for either in-office or remote work arrangements. For those assigned to an office, a minimum of 50% of the time should be spent in the local office or engaging with users, promoting a balance between collaborative in-person interactions and individual flexibility.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this role is between $194,800 and $292,200. This range reflects the On Target Earnings (OTE) for sales roles, which includes both sales commissions and the annual base salary. The final salary will be determined during the interview process based on various factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Additional benefits may include equity, company bonuses, a 401(k) plan, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with wellness stipends.
