Role Overview

The Senior Vice President of Market Strategy at EQ is a revenue-generating enterprise sales role responsible for sourcing leads and engaging with both new and existing corporate clients to promote the full range of EQ solutions. The primary goal is to profitably expand market share in the Northeast U.S. by independently crafting and executing strategies for new account acquisition, enhancing existing client relationships with public companies in the region, and nurturing key referral and channel partnerships. This position requires a partnership approach, acting as a trusted advisor to management teams of companies at various stages of their corporate journey, positioning EQ's solutions effectively to secure new clients. This high-profile role offers the chance to regularly interact with executives from some of the world's most renowned brands, as well as senior members of leading international law firms, alongside EQ's senior management team. The successful candidate will benefit from the support and expertise of top industry professionals to achieve success and impress clients and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be accountable for the following:

  • Implementing the sales process as directed by the EVP of Sales to achieve individual quotas and contribute to regional objectives.
  • Guiding new customers through the sales journey from leads to finalized agreements, whether through direct sales or collaborative efforts across business lines and geographical territories.
  • Collaborating with the existing customer base to identify and execute cross-selling opportunities.
  • Engaging in business development activities to establish new customer and partner relationships by maintaining a prospect and customer list based on strategic market data and other sales lead sources.
  • Documenting all sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Staying informed and developing expertise on market trends, competitors, and our product offerings.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will exhibit the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

  • A college degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a natural ability to open doors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with robust business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills with excellent negotiation, persuasive, and interpersonal abilities at all levels, including effective presentation skills.
  • A highly driven individual with enthusiasm for achieving high sales targets and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • A strong character and work ethic.

Compensation

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
