Position Overview
The Vice President of Market Capitalization at Equiniti is a pivotal enterprise sales role focused on sourcing leads and engaging with both new and existing corporate clients to promote the comprehensive suite of solutions offered by EQ.

Key Responsibilities

The primary goal is to strategically increase market share in the Northeast U.S. by:

  • Independently developing and executing innovative account acquisition strategies.
  • Enhancing existing client relationships with public companies in the region.
  • Expanding key referral and channel partnerships.

This role involves acting as a trusted advisor, collaborating with management teams across various stages of their corporate lifecycle to effectively position EQ's solutions and secure new clients.

As a high-visibility position, the Vice President will regularly interface with executives from renowned global brands and senior members of top international law firms, alongside EQ's senior management.

In pursuit of new business opportunities, the Vice President will have access to a wealth of support and expertise from industry leaders to ensure success and exceed client expectations.


Core Duties

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Executing the sales process under the guidance of the EVP of Sales to meet individual quotas and contribute to regional objectives.
  • Driving new customer acquisition from leads to closed deals, either through direct sales or collaborative efforts across business lines and geographical territories.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Engaging in business development activities to establish new customer and partner relationships, utilizing strategic market data and other resources for lead generation.
  • Documenting all sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Staying informed on market trends, competitors, and the product portfolio.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A college degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • A proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a natural ability to cultivate relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills paired with robust business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills at all levels, including effective presentation abilities.
  • A high level of motivation and enthusiasm to meet ambitious sales targets under pressure.
  • A strong character and work ethic.

Compensation

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
