General Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for orchestrating promotional initiatives for the organization’s offerings, crafting growth marketing strategies, and overseeing both print and digital marketing materials.

This role aids Management in formulating and executing marketing strategies across diverse campaigns and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Create new print and digital marketing materials while updating existing resources for all sales channels.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to outline the scope, timeline, and expectations for marketing assets.
3. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to procure necessary materials.

4. Direct the creative process for design projects and photo shoots by drafting briefs and leading the creative workflow to ensure high-quality outputs.

5. Maintain consistency and quality by developing internal templates, guidelines, and support documents for the organization.
6. Keep an organized online repository of design files, photography, artwork, articles, and other marketing literature.

Marketing Support:

Assist the Marketing team with various projects and promotional activities across all sales divisions (Ingredients, Wholesale, Retail, eCommerce, etc.).

Work alongside the Brand & Marketing Assistant Manager to manage the product portfolio, establishing business strategies, objectives, and insights for upcoming campaigns.

Oversee the planning and execution of sales promotions, new product launches, and other online initiatives for Wholesale and Retail clients.

Engage with collaborators and influencers to establish content creation campaigns, ensuring that the quality of content and messaging aligns with company standards.

Conduct research on direct competitors, food and beverage companies, and other relevant brands, providing analytical reports to Management.

Growth Marketing:
1. Strategize email newsletter content to align with marketing campaigns and promotions.
2. Develop testing methodologies for creative, messaging, and audience segmentation to enhance communication performance, drive revenue, and convey key brand attributes such as education, personalization, and a human touch.
3. Collaborate on innovative acquisition marketing strategies across various channels (social media, paid media, influencers, etc.) to expand the email subscriber list.
4. Manage the CRM, optimize customer databases, and create new targeted segments to test strategies and ensure positive outcomes.
5. Monitor campaign performance through online analytics to identify growth opportunities and convert data into actionable insights.

Paid Media:
1. Formulate and execute paid media strategies across social media platforms to boost brand visibility and engagement.
2. Regularly analyze and optimize campaign performance; generate insights to guide future strategies.
3. Prepare monthly reports and present actionable insights to Management.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Undertake special projects and other tasks as assigned by Management to support organizational growth.
2. Continuously seek improvements and more efficient work processes.
3. Maintain effective communication with Management, office staff, and external contacts.
4. Uphold high ethical standards in the workplace and report any irregularities to Management for resolution.
5. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or food and beverage sectors.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Lightroom) is preferred. Experience with e-commerce marketing tools/software (website analytics, promotional planning, digital advertising, and reporting) is advantageous. Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Klaviyo) is a plus. Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) is preferred. Strong copywriting skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Work Environment:
Office environment with moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands:
Frequently sit and occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities include reading and analyzing data in hardcopy and on a computer screen, measuring or identifying using eyesight, and adjusting vision focus.

The compensation range for this position will vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, and job performance.
