Key Responsibilities & Duties

This includes, but is not limited to, press releases, corporate announcements, executive presentations, websites, newsletters, blog entries, and internal communications.
  • Craft compelling content for in-store point-of-sale materials and digital platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams, including business development, operations, and human resources, to gather insights and ensure uniformity in messaging across all channels.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends and pertinent topics to remain informed and generate high-quality content.
  • Translate intricate concepts into clear, concise, and engaging written materials that align with the organization's brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Review and refine content to ensure precision, clarity, and compliance with grammar and style standards.
  • Adjust writing style and tone to suit various audiences and brands, whether addressing internal staff, clients, partners, or the general public.
  • Stay informed about the latest communication strategies, digital trends, and best practices to enhance content effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with design and multimedia teams to integrate visuals, infographics, and other multimedia elements to amplify the impact of communication materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of content, gather feedback, and propose enhancements based on analytics and user engagement.
  • Join our team as a Brand Communications Coordinator and contribute significantly to shaping our organization's narrative and fortifying our brand presence across multiple channels.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a content creator, ideally in a corporate communications or marketing capacity.
  • Experience in developing content for cross-platform campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of branding, including the establishment of brand voice for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in creating compelling content for various formats and channels.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of creative timelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to research and quickly comprehend complex topics.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques is advantageous.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in utilizing content management systems, productivity tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in writing branded content.
  • Understanding and adherence to proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Trello.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Interest in or understanding of Japanese culture.
  • Ability to conduct and accurately interpret research and web analytics.
  • Capability to create, implement, and oversee budgets.
  • Adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Physical Demands:

  • Position requires prolonged periods of sitting and using office equipment and computers. Occasional travel and overnight stays may be necessary, along with light lifting of supplies and materials.
