SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

The Client Relations Specialist ("CRS") is responsible for managing the flow of clients and their pets within the facility, enhancing the productivity of the veterinary team, ensuring effective communication with both clients and staff, and coordinating the care of pets in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner. This role is crucial in encouraging clients to return and recommend our services to their friends and family.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Embody and promote the core values of Banfield in all interactions.
  • Proactively attract new clients by showcasing our services and directing the flow of clients and pets to ensure top-notch care and optimal efficiency.
  • Maximize the number of pets seen by our veterinary team through effective management of hospital operations to meet the needs of our wellness plan clients.
  • Deliver professional, efficient, and outstanding service consistently. This includes inviting clients and pets into the facility, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about their pets' health.
  • Inform clients about our Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health requirements, and available services.
  • Assist incoming clients by completing necessary documentation, entering pet information into our system, and ensuring proper identification.
  • Support outgoing clients by providing essential instructions, information, invoices, and scheduling future appointments.
  • Oversee financial transactions by maintaining accurate records and following proper procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
