**Job Summary**

Red McCombs Ford is seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing incoming calls and visitors, and maintaining a clean and secure reception area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Serve Customers: Greet and welcome visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage Visitor Flow: Direct visitors to the appropriate department or personnel, and maintain employee and department directories.
  • Maintain Security: Monitor the security system, issue visitor badges, and follow procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Operate Telecommunications: Use the phone system to answer calls, transfer calls, and follow manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Keep the Reception Area Clean: Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Support Team Effort: Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to support the team's efforts.

**Requirements:**

  • Telephone Skills: Possess excellent telephone skills, including answering, transferring, and handling calls in a professional manner.
  • Verbal Communication: Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills, including listening, speaking, and responding to inquiries.
  • Professionalism: Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Customer Focus: Provide exceptional customer service, focusing on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.
  • Organization: Possess strong organizational skills, including prioritizing tasks, managing time, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Informing Others: Effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Handles Pressure: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Supply Management: Manage office supplies, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized supply area.

**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:**

  • University/College Degree: A university or college degree is an asset, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Phone Systems: Familiarity with phone systems and software is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Previous experience with Microsoft Office software is preferred.

**Salary:** $14 per hour
