Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Room Assignments: Assign rooms to guests based on their preferences and availability.
  • Guest Services: Provide assistance with guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional manner.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (additional languages an asset).
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
