We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet and welcome guests, complete check-in procedures, and ensure accurate and timely information and services.
- Reservation Management: Answer inquiries and accept reservations, both in person and by phone, using suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights and increase occupancy.
- Cash Handling: Calculate and post monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit using accurate and proper cash handling methods.
- Customer Relations: Maintain good customer relations by answering questions and taking care of customer concerns in a timely and knowledgeable manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Operate the telephone equipment, control cash transactions, and maintain complete responsibility for transactions during the shift.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: One year front desk or two years customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Language Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors, and fellow employees.
- Mathematical Skills: Must be able to calculate amounts and apply basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Competitive Compensation: Paid vacation, sick, and holidays.
- Benefits: 401k with employer match, medical, dental, and vision available after 60 days.
