Part-Time Position: Monday - Friday (11:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by warmly greeting and acknowledging all visitors
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Process cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as necessary
  • Participate in training sessions as directed by management to enhance job proficiency
  • Utilize dealership equipment and resources safely and effectively
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Parts Manager
  • Verify receiving documents and follow up on shortages, reporting to the Parts Manager
  • Print invoices for parts pulled from stock for all lines

Check all parts against invoices to confirm the correct items and quantities are pulled and staged appropriately. Parts in the staging area without an invoice should be set aside until all routes are verified. Invoices lacking parts in the staging area should also be set aside for review.

After verifying all routes, check any extra parts against invoices to ensure they are in the correct staging area. Parts without invoices should be identified to locate their corresponding invoices for reprinting. Invoices with missing parts should be checked against warehouse stock, and unavailable items should be removed from the invoice.

Address parts not found by notifying sales personnel. For parts stocked off-site, follow specific procedures for Chrysler, Ford, and Subaru parts, including marking invoices and coordinating with staff for pick-up.

Inbound Freight Management:

Prepare packing lists prior to the arrival of inbound freight and complete all supersession tasks beforehand. Report any parts not arriving due to allocation or availability issues to sales personnel. Inbound freight should be scanned, invoiced, and placed in their designated route locations. Completed invoices must be initialed to indicate who verified the parts.

Ensure that any debris or empty boxes are cleared from the warehouse, and that empty totes are returned daily.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory management
  • Proficient in using word processing software and adaptable to new programs

Attendance Expectations: Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.
