Position: Automotive Service Technician
Full-Time Opportunity

Job Responsibilities:
As an automotive service technician, you will perform various tasks related to vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, and repair. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing tasks as outlined in the repair order with efficiency and precision, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Performing routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements, ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and executing necessary repairs.
  • Collaborating with the parts department to obtain required components.
  • Labeling and retaining parts for warranty or customer requests.
  • Inspecting vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed.
  • Communicating with service advisors regarding extra work requirements or changes in repair timelines.
  • Documenting all completed and recommended work on the repair order.
  • Conducting road tests on vehicles as necessary.
  • Participating in manufacturer-sponsored training and staying updated on technical bulletins.
  • Supervising apprentice technicians as assigned.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of customer vehicles and the shop area.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operating tools and equipment safely.
