About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Strategic Growth and Development to join our team at AEVEX Aerospace. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of our company, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating relationships with potential clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Growth and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive business growth, expand our market reach, and increase revenue.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate deals and contracts, and develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of experienced professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the success of our business growth initiatives.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide insights to inform our business growth strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, develop strategic business plans, and deliver tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business growth initiatives and effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years of progressively increasing functional experience in the Federal government or in Defense industry equivalent required.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or 15+ years of experience required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record of leading new business pursuits, experience in managing diverse teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
