Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director, GM to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing a business unit with responsibility for budgets and profitability, including P&L responsibility. They will plan, coordinate, and manage the allocation of resources (e.g., people, equipment) to deliver timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the company's mission and goals.
  • Researches and analyzes industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest.
  • Identifies and prioritizes product and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation.
  • Develops complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocations, plans for projects, and oversees profit and loss alongside company initiatives.
  • Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop a forward-looking focus for business.
  • Owns short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.
Requirements
  • Associate degree and 12-15 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
  • Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience in planning and budgeting. Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.). Strong analytical ability. Excellent communication skills. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
