About the Role

Sanmina-SCI Systems de Mxico is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Business Development and Acquisition efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential business opportunities, prioritizing and penetrating key accounts.
  • Support and guide regional Business Development Managers globally, providing expertise on bids and proposals.
  • Manage customer executive relationships, working closely with Plant Management, Program Managers, Global Account Managers, Engineering, and Operations Executives.
  • Provide leadership to Business Development Managers and Program Managers, ensuring realistic customer expectations, operational performance, and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Oversee communications with Sanmina plants to ensure smooth product progression throughout all phases of the business transfer and ramp to production.
  • Monitor and manage site operations data and performance metrics, effective site-level materials management, and production scheduling.
  • Responsible for metrics, monitoring, and managing actions to close financial gaps for key customers.
  • Presents Sanmina offerings for end-to-end solutions, directing customers towards additional or alternative Sanmina components, products, and services.
Requirements
  • BA or BS qualified, MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of Account or Operations Management experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task, and organize.
  • Experience with executive management communications and reporting.
  • Experience in Operations/Manufacturing with an understanding of global supply chains.
  • Knowledge of FARs and DFARs.
  • Knowledge of trade compliance (ITAR/EAR).
  • Excellent MS Office skills, with MS PowerPoint and MS Project expertise required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
