Position Overview

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is the state's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare. We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Full-Time Event Associate to enhance our fundraising initiatives. This role is pivotal in orchestrating various events that directly contribute to our mission of alleviating animal suffering and advancing animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities

As an Event Associate, you will:

  • Plan and execute a diverse range of fundraising events.
  • Coordinate with vendors and develop partnerships within the community.
  • Create engaging content for events that resonate with our mission.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience in event planning or a related area (preferred).
  • Demonstrate accuracy in managing financial details (required).
  • Hold a valid Driver's License and can be insured through our organization (required).
