  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors for relevant events and foster partnerships within the community.
  • Creative Strategy Development: Research and implement innovative strategies for events and their promotions.
  • Marketing Content Creation: Develop event-related emails, public-facing content, and other marketing materials as required.
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Collaborate effectively with other departments to execute fundraising events, prioritizing teamwork with volunteers who contribute their skills and dedication to the organization.
  • Goal Achievement: Collaborate with the Development team to achieve objectives by providing input, creativity, and commitment to fundraising efforts.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure that event financial and strategic goals are met.
  • Fundraising Facilitation: Support additional fundraising initiatives such as birthdays, facility rentals, and other events as needed.
  • Signature Event Assistance: Aid in the execution of key events as required.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning or a relevant area.
Language Proficiency:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in spelling and grammar.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Accuracy in financial matters is essential.
  • Experience with budgeting is preferred.
Cognitive Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
