Position Overview:
The Event Parking Coordinator is a crucial on-call role responsible for guiding patrons in and around the parking facilities during events. This position involves managing a significant volume of cash and credit transactions with precision and accountability. Consistent attendance is essential to ensure the effectiveness of the Parking Department during events.

Compensation:
This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $10 to $12.

Part-Time Benefits:
Eligible for 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and direct guests entering the parking areas.
  • Provide clear parking information to attendees.
  • Sell parking permits.
  • Process cash and credit payments accurately, ensuring correct change is given.
  • Utilize credit card machines securely with personal identification and building codes.
  • Work across various parking locations and roles as needed.
  • Document vehicle entries as required.
  • Reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts.
  • Efficiently park vehicles.
  • Monitor parking lots during events, promptly reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Deliver a positive and friendly experience to all patrons.
  • Set up signage and parking cones as necessary.
  • Identify and resolve parking challenges proactively.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Effective communication skills in English, including the use of company radios.
  • Comfortable interacting with the public.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
