  • Position: Respiratory Therapist
  • Location: Houston, TX
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Weekends/On-call: as determined by leadership
  • Requirements: holds the following license; LRT, BLS
ROLE OVERVIEW:
  • Apply your clinical expertise, communication abilities, and organizational skills to assist medically complex children and their families.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for hospitalized children returning to their home environment.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on the use of medical equipment.
  • Oversee and manage your own patient caseload.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments in both home and hospital settings.
  • Establish meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients.
  • Access additional certifications, continuing education units (CEUs), and ongoing training at no cost.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentialed by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Successful completion of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) examination within the first year of employment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory
