We are seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our Patient Care Unit. This role is vital in helping us achieve our healthcare objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the Certified Respiratory Therapist will deliver cardiopulmonary services in line with established standards and protocols. Responsibilities include:
- Applying advanced knowledge of cardiopulmonary principles to provide critical care services.
- Conducting diagnostic studies using specialized respiratory procedures.
- Administering general therapy through established respiratory techniques.
- Performing various duties as assigned in alignment with departmental goals.
Required Credentials:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within the initial employment period.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within the initial employment period.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification obtained within the initial employment period.
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification from the Texas Medical Board.
- CRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting.
