We are seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our Patient Care Unit. This role is essential in helping us achieve our healthcare objectives and providing top-notch patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the CRT will deliver cardiopulmonary services to patients, adhering to established standards of care. Responsibilities include:
- Applying specialized knowledge of cardiopulmonary principles in critical care scenarios.
- Conducting diagnostic studies using advanced respiratory procedures.
- Administering general therapy through established respiratory techniques.
- Performing general duties related to respiratory care.
- Other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- PALS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner credentials from the Texas Medical Board.
- CRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting.
