Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist for our Patient Care Unit to contribute to our objectives. In this role, you will work under the general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivering cardiopulmonary services to patients in line with established standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Laboratory for technical oversight of diagnostic equipment.
  • Apply specialized knowledge of cardiopulmonary principles in critical care services.
  • Conduct diagnostic studies and general therapy using respiratory procedures.
  • Perform various duties as assigned, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PALS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner credentials issued by the Texas Medical Board.
  • CRT license from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Graduation from an accredited respiratory program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting.
