We are seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our Patient Care Unit, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to our high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the CRT will deliver cardiopulmonary services to patients, adhering to established practices and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Applying specialized knowledge of cardiopulmonary principles in critical care settings.
  2. Conducting diagnostic studies utilizing advanced respiratory procedures.
  3. Implementing general therapy based on respiratory knowledge.
  4. Performing various duties as assigned to support patient care.

Qualifications Required:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • PALS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification from the Texas Medical Board.
  • CRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care environment.
