Community Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: The Community Operations Supervisor will emphasize operational excellence, fostering relationships with employees, customers, and the community. By enhancing performance and ensuring customer satisfaction, this role will significantly contribute to Frontier's growth objectives.

This position entails providing guidance to a team of field technicians responsible for the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial communication lines, outside plant cable facilities, multi-line customer premises equipment, high-capacity access services, broadband services, and central office equipment.

Individuals who view their teams as collaborators while maintaining high standards will thrive in this environment. Relevant technical experience and industry knowledge are advantageous.

Core Duties:
  • Ensure timely service activation and repair commitments while adhering to budgetary constraints and promoting company offerings.
  • Oversee a profit and loss budget to meet revenue and expense targets.
  • Provide constructive feedback, ongoing training, and motivation to team members to surpass departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to uphold fair and consistent application of policies and labor agreements.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through regular safety meetings and training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Actively engage with the community to positively represent Frontier.
  • Work alongside marketing to monitor local market conditions and ensure competitive responses.
  • Address concerns raised in Customer Surveys.

  • Competitive Salary Range: $83,000 - $131,000
  • 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days plus 10 paid holidays annually

Preferred Background:
  • Experience as a Field Technician is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in an operational setting or equivalent military experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, outside plant operations, electrical systems, and network installation.
  • Proficiency in basic PC applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Availability for 24/7 support for off-shift technicians and emergencies.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, PMP, or CWNP are a plus.
  • A valid state driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
