Job Summary

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the workforce on day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Warehouse Operations: Direct and supervise the workforce on day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect all material handling equipment and truck fleet, and coordinate necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinate Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate routing and dispatch of daily shipping activities with in-house drivers, couriers, and freight carriers.
  • Ensure Warehouse Safety and Compliance: Provide oversight for warehouse activities, including daily operations, facility and grounds maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Track Productivity and Efficiency: Track productivity to meet company requirements and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Coordinate safety, systems, and job-specific training for warehouse associates and drivers.
  • Communicate with Customers: Communicate effectively with customers and provide timely follow-up to problem resolution to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Complete Receiving and Shipping Activities: Complete receiving and shipping warehouse activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; at least 3 years of warehouse experience; previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills; ability to move heavy objects with proper equipment; intermediate Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with ERP systems and/or RF Scanners preferred.
  • Work Environment: Employee works primarily in a warehouse environment; noise levels are moderate to loud; employee may be subject to hot and/or cold temperatures, depending on season.
