Position Summary:

The Field Engineer will support the Project Manager in overseeing the daily operational, technical, and administrative functions of assigned construction projects. This role is primarily field-based, providing essential support to project management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee subcontractors as necessary, addressing job site challenges with discretion and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Initiation: Review plans and specifications, understand project requirements, and manage document control procedures.
  • Kick-off Coordination: Organize initial meetings and maintain drawing accuracy.
  • Request for Information (RFI) Management: Compile and process RFIs, ensuring timely responses.
  • Change Order Processing: Review and manage contract revisions and change proposals.
  • Submittal Management: Ensure accuracy and timely submission of project documents.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, reporting, and project correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with technology and familiarity with BIM and LEED is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
