This position is primarily client-facing and requires full-time onsite presence at an industrial site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the owner's representative for various construction initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance of general contractors with local codes, National Electric Code (NEC), and client-specific policies.
  • Provide engineering support to contractors in line with design specifications.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and document results meticulously.
  • Coordinate with contractors on procurement, inspections, and project management tasks.
  • Lead and supervise staff engaged in testing and observation to meet project timelines.
  • Monitor contractor performance and prepare relevant progress reports.
  • Oversee the compilation of project closeout documents, including punchlists and as-builts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • For candidates with an Associate degree, 15 years of experience is required; without a degree, 17 years of experience is necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within Construction Management.
  • Familiarity with Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) standards is essential.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff and field personnel effectively.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and computer software proficiency.
