Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Field Survey Manager to oversee our surveying operations. This role is crucial in guiding a field team to gather essential data that supports design processes, boundary assessments, and layout preparations for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert guidance to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Conduct fieldwork for various land surveying tasks, including construction layout, boundary determination, ALTA surveys, and topographic mapping across diverse project types.
  • Coordinate the necessary materials for field staking.
  • Utilize advanced surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, scanners, and data collection devices.
  • Manage the transfer of data files between field devices and internal project directories.
  • Communicate effectively with office personnel regarding project updates, daily progress, and any challenges encountered.
  • Foster strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Adhere to the company's policies on Safety, Quality Management, and Equipment Maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with division, regional, and corporate policies within the surveying department.
  • Exemplify leadership qualities by demonstrating sound judgment, integrity, transparency, and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in Land Development, including both Commercial and Residential projects, as well as Public Infrastructure initiatives.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with office staff, including surveying technicians and engineering professionals.
