The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our business development strategies, specifically targeting government contracts and partnerships that align with our mission. This position will focus on cultivating relationships and driving growth in our advocacy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders in government and non-profit sectors to uncover and qualify business opportunities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies that align with organizational goals to foster sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate client needs into impactful solutions that address community challenges.
- Engage with decision-makers to negotiate and secure contracts that support our mission and enhance service delivery.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on trends and identify potential opportunities for collaboration.
- Lead proposal development efforts, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational capabilities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in child advocacy.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, social work, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, particularly within government or non-profit sectors.
- Strong knowledge of child welfare policies and advocacy strategies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience in proposal writing and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
