About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Microbiology Division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the long-term business strategy and program management for our Microbiology Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the division's 5-year strategic plan, working closely with the division leadership team.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of cross-functional projects supporting strategic focus areas.
  • Program manage divisional strategic focus areas, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and achievement of growth targets and overall business results.
  • Develop and drive M&A and partnering strategy for the division, identifying and recommending inorganic growth opportunities through strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients and industry experts.
Requirements
  • University degree in business, life sciences, diagnostics, health care or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy and market analysis.
  • Industry knowledge with experience in defining strategic roadmaps in regulated life sciences companies.
  • Demonstrable experience in M&A, Partnerships, and Licensing.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a solid grasp of customer behavior.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Culturally sensitive; lived and/or worked in multiple countries.
  • Fluency in English plus one other language advantageous.
