Role Overview:
This position is part of a succession planning initiative, where the selected candidate will eventually transition into the COO/President role.
The Senior Vice President of Mining Operations will oversee the effective management of mining activities in South America, necessitating periodic rotations from the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of current mining, transportation, and port operations, developing operational plans to align with both short-term and long-term company objectives.
- Maintain operational oversight through consistent communication with environmental, engineering, construction, and production teams.
- Enhance operational efficiency by implementing cost control measures and maximizing production outputs.
